Reservation Agent

Michel Reybier Hospitality operates a collection of upscale hotels across Switzerland and France, including the iconic Mont Cervin Palace, the contemporary Schweizerhof Zermatt and the historic Hotel Monte Rosa in the famed Zermatt resort. The company seeks a full‑time Reservation Agent for its central reservations hub, with an immediate start. In this position the employee will manage incoming booking enquiries received by phone, email, web channels or face‑to‑face, verify room availability and guest preferences, and record each reservation accurately in the property management system. The role also involves answering questions about rates, facilities and services, offering tailored suggestions to improve the stay, and following up with guests before arrival to confirm details. Additional duties include promoting upgrades, packages and ancillary services such as spa, dining or transport, relaying special requests to housekeeping, concierge and food‑and‑beverage teams, and cooperating with front‑desk and sales colleagues to ensure seamless check‑in and check‑out. Any discrepancies or complaints must be addressed promptly. Applicants should have prior experience in a comparable hospitality environment either in Switzerland or abroad, and be fluent in spoken and written German, English and French. The ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, adaptability, resilience and a strong sense of responsibility, while remaining organized under pressure. Benefits include staff housing in the centre of Zermatt and Täsch, discounted rates for employees and their families, access to a fitness centre, pool slots, ski‑lift discounts, and participation in a development programme offering various training courses. For those who prefer not to work both winter and summer seasons, assistance is provided to locate complementary roles with partner hotels.
