Senior Systems Engineer - Aerospace

The role is a Senior Systems Engineer in Aerospace, working for a company that develops aerospace systems. The main day-to-day responsibilities involve leading cross-functional systems engineering projects, from concept to certification, with a focus on resolving electrical system issues. This includes designing and modifying electromechanical systems, integrating electrical components, and ensuring compliance with aerospace certification standards. The must-have requirements include at least five years of experience in aerospace electromechanical system development and certification, hands-on experience in testing, debugging, and fault isolation at the PCB level, and a strong background in actuator or motor-control electronics, hardware design, and complex troubleshooting. Practical experience with RTCA DO-254 and solid knowledge of EASA Part 23 are also required, along with expertise in key aerospace standards, including avionics systems, software, hardware, and safety certifications. A Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering is necessary. Nice-to-have skills include experience in supporting mechanical systems engineers and facilitating ground and flight tests. The role is based in Switzerland and is a full-time, onsite position.
