Swiss Life is a company that offers individual financial and pension advice, helping people manage their financial future. The role of Reinsurance Pricing Actuary involves developing actuarial foundations and calculating prices for reinsurance offers. This includes working on pricing methods, exposure analyses, and risk assessments, as well as regularly reviewing the profitability of the existing portfolio. The role also involves enhancing the tool landscape according to current standards and collaborating closely with various departments and international partners. The main responsibilities include creating and validating pricing models for new and existing business, as well as contributing to the development of the reinsurance business. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in mathematics, physics, or economics, complemented by actuarial training. They must be an Aktuar SAV or have the equivalent foreign qualification, or be interested in pursuing the Swiss Life-supported training to become an Aktuar SAV. Experience in life insurance, preferably in reinsurance, is essential. Strong knowledge of pricing methods, tools, and techniques in product modeling is required. The role demands flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking and a passion for developing new business areas and solutions. Proficiency in both German and English is a must.
