AI Tech Architect (all genders) - BCG Platinion Zurich, Switzerland

BCG Platinion, the technology and design arm of the Boston Consulting Group, partners with leading global firms to accelerate their digital and AI‑driven transformations. As an AI Tech Architect in Zurich, you will join a team that turns strategic tech visions into concrete, business‑impacting solutions while fostering AI fluency across the organization. Your daily work will involve assessing clients’ digital maturity and conducting feasibility analyses, guiding small, agile squads through strategic IT rollout programmes, and embedding modern practices such as DevOps, CI/CD, and cyber‑resilience. You will also craft, refine and optimise bespoke IT architectures, drawing on deep knowledge of legacy systems, enterprise solutions and current trends like cloud services and micro‑services, and you will be responsible for designing AI‑enabled architectures that embed intelligent capabilities into client offerings. The role requires a university degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field, together with at least two years of experience in IT consulting or software development. You must understand that tools such as machine learning, AI, robotics, DevOps and cyber‑resilience are core to sustainable architectures, and you should have hands‑on exposure to AI tools or AI‑integrated designs. A broad technical curiosity, comfort working in interdisciplinary and global teams, willingness to travel, and fluency in both German and English are essential. BCG Platinion offers a continuously evolving development environment, with individual training, open feedback culture and strong back‑office support. The Zurich office promotes regular in‑person collaboration through “office Fridays” and a calendar of memorable events, helping you build a close‑knit network while advancing your expertise in the AI space.
