Desktop Support Technician - IT, Level 2

Frontiers is looking for a Desktop Support Technician – Level 2 to keep its offices running smoothly. The role is split between two sites, one in Lausanne serving about 250 staff and another in Warsaw supporting roughly 30 employees, and it focuses on delivering reliable technology and responsive assistance so that colleagues can work efficiently. Each day the technician will diagnose and fix hardware and software problems both on‑site and remotely, set up and roll out desktops, laptops and mobile devices, and handle network connectivity issues. The job also includes maintaining a current inventory of equipment and software licences, managing user access rights, onboarding new hires with IT inductions, and providing training and AV support for meeting rooms. All work is tracked through Jira Service Management, with an expectation to meet defined service‑level agreements and to contribute to documentation and process improvements alongside the wider IT team. The position requires three to five years of experience in desktop support or a comparable field, and a preferred associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. Candidates should hold relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, be comfortable with Windows, macOS and iOS operating systems, understand network configurations and protocols, and be aware of IT security best practices.
