Front Desk Manager (10-30%)

Velocity, Switzerland's first boutique fitness studio, is seeking a Front Desk Manager to oversee operations at one of their studios in Enge, West, or Zug. Velocity offers innovative cycling and power classes, focusing on full-body workouts that combine cardiovascular exercise with music-driven motivation. The studio aims to build a community through shared experiences and a love for fitness. The Front Desk Manager will handle various day-to-day tasks, including managing the front desk, welcoming customers, and setting up the studio for classes. This involves turning on lights and music, setting up the Veloboard technology, and managing the booking system. The role also includes supervising retail operations, solving management issues, and maintaining a motivated team. Additionally, the manager will assist new customers and perform manual tasks like washing towels and cleaning equipment. To excel in this role, candidates must have a passion for fitness and hospitality, as well as a commitment to exceptional customer service. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential. The role requires fluency in both English and German, as well as a valid Swiss Work Permit or Residence. Nice-to-have skills include a friendly and professional phone and email etiquette.
