Roche’s Business Strategy & Operations (BSO) function supports the Product Development Data Sciences (PDD) organization, providing the strategic and operational foundation that enables scientific innovation and broad access to healthcare. As Head of Resourcing & Metrics, you will lead the enterprise‑wide effort to plan, track and measure headcount, contractor usage and financial allocations across all functions and regions, ensuring the data needed for senior leaders to make informed decisions. Your daily work will involve setting the strategic direction for a team of leaders who design and manage resourcing and budget oversight, governing end‑to‑end planning processes together with Finance, HR and portfolio partners, and maintaining a single source of truth for financial and resource performance. You will shape metrics frameworks such as OKRs and KPIs, drive multi‑year planning and quarterly forecasts, and establish operating rhythms that align resource data with program timelines and investment trade‑offs. In addition, you will champion data governance, audit compliance and quality controls, while identifying automation and analytics tooling opportunities to improve planning efficiency. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least fifteen years of progressive experience in business operations, enterprise planning, project management or resource and financial governance, together with six or more years in senior leadership positions managing professionals across functions and geographies. A record of successfully driving resource initiatives is also essential. Experience with advanced planning platforms and analytics solutions—such as Anaplan, Tableau or Adaptive Insights—and a demonstrated ability to innovate in automation and tooling are valued.
