The main day-to-day responsibilities of a Manufacturing Operator (m/w/d) include independently conducting chemical and cleaning processes on modern multi-purpose production systems. The operator uses a process control system to manage these systems and ensures compliance with safety, hygiene, environmental, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations. Additionally, the role involves recording raw materials and products in SAP and actively participating in continuous process improvement by contributing ideas and assisting in their implementation. To qualify for this role, candidates must can quickly adapt to new processes and possess technical understanding. They should be prepared to work in a continuous shift operation with automated and semi-automated systems. Strong teamwork skills, openness to new challenges, and a commitment to continuous learning and development are essential. Fluency in German and the ability to work reliably and flexibly are also required. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as good organizational abilities, are crucial. Nice-to-have skills include a completed vocational training as a Chemikant/-in or Pharma- and Chemietechnologe/-in, or comparable experience in the production of highly active substances or chemical processes. Experience with chemicals and safety requirements in chemical production (ATEX, hazardous substances), good GMP knowledge, and a solid understanding of chemical production systems are beneficial. Proficiency in operating the Siemens PCS7 process control system, an affinity for digitalization projects and new technologies, basic English skills for an international environment, and good Office 365 knowledge are also advantageous. The location in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, offers a strategic hub for the introduction and growth of parenteral products, with an impressive pipeline of innovative new products.
