Finance Specialist Accounting & Reporting (m/w/d)

The position of Finance Specialist Accounting & Reporting places you within an international industrial firm, reporting directly to the Group CFO and offering a wide view of financial accounting, reporting, compliance and process‑enhancement tasks in a fast‑moving manufacturing setting. It is aimed at professionals who want to understand the full business operation, take ownership and make a visible impact. Your everyday work will involve supporting and coordinating the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing cycles, taking part in group reporting and consolidation, and preparing financial statements and management dashboards. You will also assist with VAT, tax and statutory filings, ensure data is accurate and transparent, and help with budgeting and forecasting. The role calls for spotting opportunities to streamline and automate processes, backing ERP and finance transformation projects, and contributing to internal control and compliance activities while collaborating closely with operational units and colleagues across borders. Candidates must hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a comparable field, and bring three to eight years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit or related finance duties. Practical involvement in month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings is required, and experience in an industrial or international environment is considered beneficial. A keen interest in finance process improvement, digitalisation and automation, strong analytical and organisational abilities, a proactive attitude and fluency in French and English are essential; German knowledge is a plus.
