Client Portfolio Manager, Emerging Markets Fixed Income

The Client Portfolio Manager, Emerging Markets Fixed Income role is based at Vontobel, a Zurich‑headquartered investment firm that oversees more than CHF 114 billion in client assets and operates boutique teams in New York, London and Zurich. In this position you will act as the front‑line representative for Vontobel's Emerging Markets Fixed Income flagship, advising prospects, consultants and existing clients while supporting the firm's global growth strategy. Your daily work will involve creating and checking investment messaging, marketing collateral and written content for accuracy and compliance. You will lead the preparation and delivery of RFP responses, client reports and follow‑up communications, and you will present the team's investment philosophy and portfolio positioning in meetings, roadshows and performance reviews. Close collaboration with regional client teams, portfolio managers and senior management will be essential to execute the EM FI engagement plan. The employer requires a solid background in Fixed Income sales and client service. Candidates must have at least two years of sell‑side Fixed Income experience, a bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline, native‑level German and fluent English, and strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and the broader MS Office suite. A proactive, self‑driven attitude and a willingness to travel frequently are also mandatory.
