Engineering Manager, Partner Tech

GetYourGuide is a global marketplace that connects travelers with curated activities and tours. As part of the Partner Tech division, the Engineering Manager will lead a mixed backend‑frontend squad that powers the integration platform used by external partners to sell GetYourGuide's inventory at scale. In this role you will be responsible for hiring, onboarding and performance management of eight engineers ranging from junior to senior levels. You will work hand‑in‑hand with the Product Manager to define and execute the roadmap for a complex, high‑impact domain, ensuring that technical decisions align with business goals. Building a culture that thrives amid uncertainty, you will promote rapid experimentation, use data and partner feedback to validate ideas, and keep the team's systems healthy and reliable. Cross‑functional collaboration with stakeholders throughout the company will be essential to drive initiatives that expand the partner ecosystem. The position calls for a proven engineering leader who takes ownership of technical direction and can guide teams through intricate problem spaces. You should be comfortable with full‑stack development, able to influence both backend and frontend work, and have hands‑on experience applying AI techniques within product development. A people‑first mindset is required: you must coach engineers at all levels without micromanaging, while uniting a newly formed group around shared ways of working. Deep empathy for partners, strong product judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international, cross‑functional environment are also essential.
