Production & Supply Planner

Teleflex, a company specializing in the development, production, and marketing of balloon catheters and drug-coated stent systems, is seeking a Production & Supply Planner for their Bülach, Switzerland location. The role is part of the Global Supply Chain VI department, which includes Corporate Sales Support, production planning and control, and material supply and warehousing. The team focuses on optimizing the entire supply chain in a highly regulated environment and ensuring timely delivery to sales organizations. The main day-to-day responsibilities include managing the production and supply planning for assigned product groups, continuously optimizing these planning areas, and deriving supply plans from rough cut capacity planning. The role involves developing various supply scenarios and recommendations, participating in monthly supply review meetings as part of the S&OP process, and entering production orders in the cleanroom based on inventory levels and targets. Additionally, the planner will monitor work in progress (WIP) and ensure adherence to defined targets, regularly review batch sizes, and communicate results clearly to local and global stakeholders. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a completed degree in engineering, supply chain management, economics, or a related field. Several years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in the FMCG or Medtech sector, are ideal. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of numerical and logistical relationships are essential. Proficiency in SAP R/3 PP/MM and Excel is required, along with very good German and English language skills. Nice-to-have skills include a proactive team player mindset with a hands-on approach.
