Retail Sales Associate

Verizon is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join its stores, where the company showcases a broad range of mobile devices and wireless services. In this position you will be the first point of contact for shoppers, helping them identify their technology needs and recommending appropriate phones, accessories, activation steps and service plans while keeping the sales floor tidy and well‑organized. Your daily tasks will involve welcoming visitors, evaluating their requirements, and steering them through product choices and plan options. You will handle sales transactions, resolve simple technical problems, and work closely with colleagues to achieve the store’s sales goals and ensure a smooth, customer‑centric experience throughout each shift. The role requires at least six months of experience in retail or sales, strong verbal communication, and a clear focus on customer service. You must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to match peak traffic periods. Familiarity with smartphones, wireless plans and point‑of‑sale systems is advantageous, as is the desire to deepen knowledge of the latest consumer electronics.
