US Sales Manager

Optotune Switzerland AG is a fast‑growing optics company headquartered in Zurich. The firm designs, manufactures and markets adaptive optical components, most notably its patented liquid lenses and optical actuators, for industrial and consumer applications. The US Sales Manager will drive sales expansion by strengthening existing key‑account relationships, acquiring new business across the United States, Canada and Mexico, and feeding market feedback to product management. Additional duties include managing local sales partners and supporting marketing activities such as trade‑show participation. The role requires a solid technical foundation (MSc or equivalent) and at least five years of technical sales experience, preferably within the optics sector. Candidates should possess market knowledge in defence, medical, microscopy, semiconductor and vision fields, be able to spot and engage new customers, build and maintain relationships, and translate customers' technical needs into suitable solutions. A strong passion for sales and marketing, a friendly and well‑organized personality, autonomy and teamwork are also essential. Fluency in English is mandatory, while Spanish is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office is expected, and familiarity with SAP and SAP CRM is considered advantageous.
