CI/CD and DevOps Expert in Testing 80-100%

Siemens Schweiz AG, part of the Smart Infrastructure division, is looking for a CI/CD and DevOps Expert in Testing. The role sits within the research and development hub at the company's global headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, and is offered as a permanent, full‑time position with a hybrid work model. You will join a diverse, global team that creates software and services for smart buildings, helping customers meet decarbonisation targets, cut operating costs and deliver superior occupant experiences. On a daily basis you will design, build and run CI/CD pipelines that cover the whole software lifecycle, from development and testing to release, updates and support. Using GitLab and AWS you will set up automated test flows, enable parallel builds for developers and staged roll‑outs for integration and production environments, and ensure the solutions meet production‑grade availability and performance. You will also implement and maintain observability tools that feed health and security data, translate those signals into actionable work items, and help shape the overall test architecture and strategy. Collaboration with global development and test teams is essential, as is active participation in an agile squad where you will share knowledge and mentor colleagues. The position requires a solid academic background, specifically a master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline. You must be proficient with GitLab CI/CD and have hands‑on experience with cloud, edge and IoT technologies, including AWS, Python, JavaScript, Docker, Podman, micro‑service design and Linux environments. Experience in testing REST APIs, reviewing and validating code, and automating GUI, API and end‑to‑end tests is also mandatory. Familiarity with agile frameworks such as SAFe and Scrum is expected, and you need strong English communication skills. German language ability is considered a plus.
