Senior Structurer Credit & Surety (Hybrid - 80-100%)

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of the Swiss Re Group, is seeking a Senior Structurer Credit & Surety to join their dynamic team in London. The company provides innovative insurance solutions to large and midsized multinational corporations, helping them mitigate their risk exposure. As a Senior Structurer, the role involves driving complex structured finance and portfolio transactions across diverse sectors, including corporate finance, project and infrastructure finance, and trade finance. The main day-to-day responsibilities include leading transaction execution, conducting thorough due diligence, and developing and presenting credit memoranda to senior management. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring and managing transactions post-closing, and sourcing new business opportunities through established client and broker relationships. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field such as Finance, Economics, or Mathematics, and at least 7 years' experience in structured finance or corporate finance with a bank or other financial institution. They must also have an excellent understanding of assessing credit obligors, strong presentation skills, and the ability to evaluate and take a position on transactions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical abilities, a collaborative approach, and a solution-oriented mentality. They will be working with a very engaged and collaborative team of experienced finance professionals in a hybrid work environment, with the expectation of being in the office at least three days per week.
