As Vice President Investments you will join Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP), a specialist investment manager focused on fast‑growing energy‑infrastructure assets. The position is centred on the Swiss and German markets and spans the full investment cycle, from deal origination to post‑closing value creation and eventual exit. Your daily work will involve identifying and originating attractive opportunities in the energy‑infrastructure sector, leading transaction execution with financial modelling, valuation and investment memoranda, and coordinating due‑diligence across technical, legal, financial, tax and commercial workstreams. You will structure deals, negotiate key terms with sellers, partners and lenders, and ensure regulatory compliance. Once investments are closed you will own the assigned portfolio companies, monitor operational and financial performance, report to investors, sit on boards where required, and drive strategic initiatives such as operational improvements, growth plans or refinancing. In addition, you will mentor analysts and associates, promote knowledge sharing and oversee efficient project management across the team. To succeed, you need an excellent academic record with a Master's or Ph.D. in business administration or natural/engineering sciences from a top‑tier university or business school. At least seven years of investment experience in the energy industry or on large‑scale infrastructure transactions worldwide is required, together with a proven track record of managing high‑performing teams. A strong network in the energy market, deep expertise in M&A transactions and project financing, and the ability to analyse complex topics quickly are essential. Fluency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are considered a plus. The role also calls for strong analytical and conceptual thinking and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. EIP offers a competitive remuneration package, fringe benefits and flexible working conditions, including remote‑work options. The firm's rapid expansion provides multiple development opportunities within a highly motivated team, allowing you to shape the future of energy investments while benefiting from a supportive, growth‑focused environment. What the role asks for: - Master's or Ph.D. in business administration or natural/engineering sciences - Minimum 7 years investment experience in energy or infrastructure - Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing teams - Strong network within the energy market - Demonstrated expertise in M&A transactions - Project‑financing knowledge and commercial acumen - Fluency in English (mandatory) - Additional language proficiency (nice‑to‑have) - Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude (nice‑to‑have)
