Project Manager Marketing Analytics (ID 2139)

The AO is a medically guided, not‑for‑profit organization that operates a global network of surgeons and is recognised as the world's leading education, innovation and research body for the surgical treatment of trauma and musculoskeletal disorders. Within the Community & Governance department, the Project Manager Marketing Analytics will support the community‑building, marketing and specialty‑board activities that connect clinicians worldwide. On a daily basis you will own the configuration, governance and continuous improvement of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager across all AO digital properties, guaranteeing accurate tracking, high‑quality data and a clear event taxonomy. You will design, automate and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards in Looker Studio and Power BI, turning complex data into concise narratives and actionable recommendations for marketing, sales and senior leadership. In partnership with paid‑media specialists you will define and manage key audience segments for acquisition, remarketing and retention campaigns, while also supporting campaign measurement, attribution and testing. Your SEO responsibilities will include keyword‑gap analysis and performance reviews using analytics and SEO tools, feeding insights into on‑site and off‑site optimisation strategies. Additionally, you will assist the team with Salesforce reporting to link marketing activities to pipeline and revenue outcomes, and you will champion data‑quality standards, documentation and compliance with privacy and consent regulations. The role requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, data/analytics, computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent professional background. You must bring at least five years of hands‑on experience in a digital marketing analytics or performance‑focused position, with proven expertise in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio/Data Studio. A solid grasp of on‑page and off‑page SEO best practices and the ability to measure their impact are essential. You should be comfortable handling large data sets, segmenting audiences and performing basic analysis in Excel or Google Sheets, and you must be able to translate technical metrics into clear, non‑technical language for stakeholders at all levels. The position is a temporary, full‑time (100 %) contract based in Zizers, Switzerland.
