The vacancy is for a Data Scientist who will join the Digital & Data Science Group within Biologicals Research, a unit focused on discovering and optimizing nature‑derived microbes, extracts and molecules that defend plants and enhance soil health. In this position you will explore Syngenda’s omics data to uncover performance trends and generate predictive insights. Your tasks include designing and applying new strategies for merging multi‑omics information, employing machine‑learning, statistical and AI techniques to draw conclusions from high‑dimensional data, and ensuring data quality through rigorous curation and integration. You will also assess and refine analytical tools, validate results iteratively, and convey findings to both technical specialists and broader audiences. Collaboration with scientists to define data requirements, partnership with IT and software engineers to roll out predictive applications, and support for users during data‑management changes are also part of the daily workflow.
