Roche is looking for a Working Student to join the CareRing Core Team, a global virtual community within Roche's Global Patient Network. CareRing supports employees who are patients or caregivers, offering a safe space to share personal stories and keep empathy at the heart of Roche's innovation. The position is a long‑term, part‑time internship (10–20 hours per week) lasting at least 24 months, based in Basel or the surrounding area. In this role you will run the day‑to‑day operations of the CareRing platform and its presence on the myRoche intranet, ensuring content stays fresh and relevant. You will balance front‑office community engagement with back‑office tasks such as content scheduling, technical maintenance, and administrative support. Creating and publishing posts, event promotions, impact stories and member spotlights will be part of your routine, as will collaborating with cross‑functional teams to weave CareRing messaging into broader company initiatives. You will also assist the global Ambassador Program by providing assets and tools to local leads, and help prepare updates for site leaders and project teams. The internship is aimed at early‑stage university students who are enrolled in a Bachelor's (or early Master's) program for the full duration of the assignment. Candidates must be comfortable with digital platforms, content‑management tools and social‑media dynamics, and possess strong written and spoken English skills. An entrepreneurial, proactive mindset and a genuine curiosity to learn are essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and represent a patient‑first mission. The role requires a commitment of 10–20 hours each week for a minimum of two years. While fluency in English is mandatory, additional language skills such as German or any other language are considered a plus. Working in Basel offers the chance to build a global network, interact directly with ambassadors, functional teams and senior leadership, and receive mentorship from experienced Roche leaders over the two‑year period. The internship does not count toward a Bachelor's or Master's thesis.
