Strong abilities in performance profiling, tuning, and a deep grasp of linear‑algebra and numerical‑methods fundamentals are also mandatory, as are excellent written and verbal communication skills and a logical, organized approach to problem solving. NVIDIA offers a competitive compensation package, generous benefits and a culture that prizes creativity, autonomy and challenging work. The company is recognized for its diverse and inclusive environment, and it values engineers who are eager to push the boundaries of accelerated computing. Experience leading projects, a deep understanding of processor micro‑architectures, or skills in debugging, porting and assembly‑level programming are considered advantageous and can help you stand out. What the role asks for: - BS/MS in Computer Science or related engineering - 8+ years of programming experience - Proficiency in Fortran, C, and C++ - Experience with OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, and CUDA - Strong performance analysis and tuning skills - Excellent written and verbal communication - Nice-to-have: Experience leading or managing projects - Nice-to-have: Deep knowledge of machine architectures and assembly
