Professional Voice Actor - Italian

The position calls for an Italian‑speaking voice professional to help shape how artificial‑intelligence systems converse with Italian users worldwide. The work is offered by Alignerr, a company that partners with research labs and major corporations to improve language models, and it is organized as an hourly contract that can be performed entirely from home. Daily tasks involve producing clear, expressive recordings in Italian using a high‑quality large‑diaphragm microphone while following supplied scripts. The contractor will also listen to AI‑generated speech, judge its naturalness, pronunciation, emotional tone and overall quality, and write specific suggestions for improvement. Additional duties include reviewing the source scripts, proposing edits for better clarity, and ensuring the final output sounds authentic, all on a self‑directed schedule. Applicants must have a background in voice work such as acting, narration, audiobook reading, dubbing or similar fields, and must speak Italian at a native or near‑native level with a confident, natural delivery. A quiet, acoustically treated recording environment and a professional‑grade microphone are required, as is the ability to consistently produce engaging and well‑articulated performances. No previous experience with AI or technology is necessary. Desirable extras include prior experience in broadcast, commercial, e‑learning or film voice‑over, familiarity with audio‑editing software, knowledge of regional Italian accents, or a background in performing arts, linguistics or language coaching.
