Senior Frontend Developer

Decentriq specializes in creating privacy-preserving infrastructure that enables advertisers, retailers, and publishers to collaborate on first-party data for audience targeting and campaign measurement without exposing their underlying data. The company is based in Zürich and is trusted by major industry leaders. The web application, built with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Joy UI, is the primary interface for this platform. It allows customers to configure secure data jobs, explore results, activate audiences, and trigger ML workflows. The main responsibilities of the Senior Frontend Developer role include owning features from idea to production, managing complex state for interactive data applications, and implementing client-side data processing and visualization. The role also involves leveraging AI-powered productivity tools and collaborating with design, product, and engineering teams. The developer will work on a small, high-leverage engineering team with end-to-end ownership, ensuring that the web application remains responsive and efficient. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar field, along with at least three years of professional experience. Fluency in English and extensive experience with TypeScript, React, CSS3, and HTML5 are required. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Zürich, with a requirement to be on-site three days a week. Additionally, candidates should have a proven track record of building data-heavy UIs that remain responsive through smart state management and memoization. The role also requires the effective use of AI-assisted development tools while maintaining high engineering standards. Experience with web applications involving heavy data processing and visualization, as well as technical leadership experience, are considered nice-to-have skills. The role also offers the opportunity to pick up some Rust for simple backend changes.
