HR Generalist – Swiss HRM & Payroll (60–80%, all genders)

The role of HR Generalist, Swiss HRM & Payroll at adesso Switzerland involves supporting employees and team leads throughout their employment lifecycle, with a strong focus on Swiss HR administration, payroll processes, social insurance, and HR controlling. The role is based in Lugano and will work closely with an experienced Senior HR Business Partner and the wider decentralized HR team. The main day-to-day responsibilities include managing the operational employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding, handling the complete payroll process, advising employees and team leads on HR-related matters, and supporting HR controlling through data preparation and analyses. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the Recruiting team, contributing to HR projects, and ensuring the transfer of knowledge and training on HR processes and tools. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a completed Swiss HR qualification, such as HR Assistant or HR Specialist (Federal Diploma of Higher Education), and several years of hands-on experience in Swiss HR administration and payroll processes. Proficiency in Italian and English is required, with good German skills also necessary. Knowledge of Swiss employment law, social insurance, payroll, and withholding taxes is essential. Strong numerical acumen, analytical skills, and experience with HR controlling, payroll data, and spreadsheets are also required. Good advisory and communication skills, as well as a high degree of personal responsibility, are crucial. Familiarity with MS Office is mandatory, and knowledge of the Abacus ERP system is an advantage. Experience in an international environment and knowledge of global mobility would be beneficial. The role is based in Lugano, with occasional travel to other adesso locations, typically once a month, primarily to Zurich or Bern.
