English–Vietnamese Interpreter

The role is for an English, Vietnamese Interpreter at a manufacturing facility in Ben Cat, Vietnam. The company, P&G, is a well-known consumer goods corporation. The interpreter will support day-to-day manufacturing operations across various areas, including laboratories, warehouses, and production lines. The main day-to-day responsibilities include providing accurate and professional English, Vietnamese interpretation during manufacturing and operational activities. This involves supporting communication between English and Vietnamese-speaking employees, teams, and stakeholders. The interpreter will also need to accurately interpret technical, operational, safety, and workplace-related communications. Additionally, the interpreter must maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling company and operational information, and follow all plant access, safety, security, conduct, and operational SOPs. Completing daily timesheets and complying with required security check-in/check-out procedures are also part of the role. The must-have requirements include strong Vietnamese language proficiency suitable for professional interpretation, a proven ability to interpret accurately in a professional or business environment, and strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. The interpreter must be able to work effectively in a manufacturing/industrial environment and understand and communicate technical, operational, and safety-related information. The role requires the ability to work the assigned shift consistently throughout the contract period and the willingness to comply with all plant safety, security, confidentiality, and conduct requirements. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Ben Cat, Vietnam. Nice-to-have skills include Spanish proficiency at a CEFR B2 to native-speaker level, previous experience supporting manufacturing, production, laboratory, warehouse, or industrial operations, and experience interpreting technical or safety-related terminology. Experience working in multinational manufacturing environments and familiarity with workplace health, safety, and operational procedures are also preferred. The role involves working in a team of six interpreters covering three shifts per day, Monday through Friday, from October 5 to December 10, 2026. The start date is extremely urgent, beginning on Monday, October 5, 2026.
