Credit Recovery Manager 100% (f/m/d)

Julius Baer, the leading Swiss wealth‑management group, is looking for a Credit Recovery Manager to join its Impaired Asset Management team. The role focuses on handling credit‑risk elements of a portfolio that includes domestic and international private‑banking clients experiencing financial distress, helping the bank protect and grow value beyond wealth. On a daily basis you will manage selected impaired loans with the objective of limiting losses. This involves analysing credit and collateral, devising mitigation strategies, carrying out collateral valuations and provisioning calculations, and taking part in client meetings where you will represent the bank’s interests. You will also act on behalf of senior credit recovery officers, coordinate with internal partners to keep files aligned, support regular and ad‑hoc reporting, and contribute to credit‑related projects and process enhancements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a university of applied sciences in economics, banking, finance, law or a comparable field, together with three to five years of experience in recovery management, credit‑file workout, or the mortgage/Lombard sector. You must possess deep legal knowledge of mortgage or Lombard borrowing structures, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure. Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint is expected, as are excellent written and spoken German and English; additional languages are a plus.
