Security Officer

Titan Security delivers tailored protection services for a range of high‑profile companies and properties, and it has been honored as a USA Today Top Workplace for two consecutive years. As a Security Officer you will join a team that values unity, transparency, innovation, commitment and accountability while helping clients maintain safe environments. Your daily routine will involve continuous vehicle and foot patrols of an outdoor shopping center, greeting visitors and offering directions, and handling front‑desk paperwork that records people, packages and other activity. You will manage entry for tenants, guests and vendors, keep an eye on surveillance feeds, and intervene in any incidents or emergencies, documenting each event for both the property owner and Titan management. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed. To qualify, you must be at least 18, possess a high‑school diploma or GED, and have prior experience in roles such as door staff, reception, customer service, clerical work, hotel or restaurant positions. Comfort around dogs, cats and other animals is required, as is the ability to obtain and retain an Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card after completing state‑approved training. Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check, be fluent in English, and meet physical demands that include lifting over 50 lb, extensive walking, stair navigation and working in adverse weather. Shifts require strong foot patrols twice per shift on weekends and three times on weekdays. Being bilingual is viewed favorably, and you must be able to work evenings, overnights and weekends. Compensation starts at $19 per hour with specific shift windows, and the role includes paid time off, holidays, medical and dental coverage, opportunities for advancement and skill‑building training.
