Java Software Engineer

The company runs a mission‑critical engagement platform and is looking for a Java Software Engineer to take end‑to‑end ownership of its cloud‑native, automation‑first software lifecycle. The firm serves global clients and relies on continuous availability. In this role you will shape software architecture, choose technologies and follow engineering processes. You will design, develop and operate high‑performance Java back‑end services and REST APIs, write concurrent, network‑oriented logic with modern Java, and build modular components using Spring Framework and Spring Boot. Data access layers will be created and tuned with JDBC, JPA/Hibernate and linked to MySQL/XtraDB clusters, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis and Apache Artemis. You will also help maintain Angular front‑ends, package applications as container images for Kubernetes, and construct CI/CD pipelines with Maven, Git and GitLab. Quality is ensured through testing, code reviews and continuous improvement. The position requires at least five years of production‑level Java development, deep knowledge of Java concurrency, multithreading and network communication, and solid experience with Spring Framework/Boot. You must be proficient in SQL, JDBC, JPA/Hibernate and have worked with clustered MySQL/XtraDB, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis and Apache Artemis. Fluency in English and strong problem‑solving, teamwork and communication skills are essential. Familiarity with Angular, German language ability, and hands‑on use of IntelliJ, Maven, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and Debian Linux are considered advantageous.
