Swiss Re, a global leader in reinsurance and risk‑transfer solutions, is looking for a Public Affairs Associate to help position the firm as a top voice on risk and resilience. The role sits within the Group Public Affairs team, which blends data, technology and a growth mindset to amplify the company’s influence worldwide. In this position you will own the resilience agenda, crafting strategies that shape how key audiences view the topic and establishing Swiss Re as a go‑to source of insight. Daily tasks include cultivating relationships with government agencies, international bodies, industry groups and think‑tanks, arranging high‑impact meetings, roundtables and executive briefings, and producing persuasive briefings, presentations and social‑media material for senior leaders. You will also coordinate cross‑functional partnerships, maintain stakeholder registers and engagement plans, apply AI‑driven tools to streamline research and outreach, and monitor performance against defined metrics. Candidates must have professional experience in public affairs, policy or advocacy, together with an advanced degree in a relevant discipline such as political science, international affairs, macroeconomics or PPE. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential, as is the ability to present confidently at all levels.
