Software Engineer (AI Internal Tools)

Garda Capital Partners, a multi‑billion‑dollar alternative‑investment firm with more than two decades of experience in relative‑value fixed‑income strategies, is looking for a Software Engineer Intern focused on AI internal tools. The six‑month position reports to the AI Lead and centers on creating and refining the internal systems that let Garda’s teams apply AI safely and reliably across the organization. The intern will design and enhance backend services, APIs and integrations that embed AI into everyday workflows, contribute to shared platform pieces such as gateway and identity services, and add monitoring and support utilities. Responsibilities also include delivering production‑ready features—from design through testing and documentation—evaluating AI models and tools, turning recurring needs into reusable components, and collaborating with engineers, security, compliance and end users to incorporate feedback.
