Maintenance - Full Time - Medex

The Maintenance, Full Time, Medex position at Extendicare supports the operation of a long‑term care facility in Ottawa. As part of a mission‑driven healthcare organization, you will help keep resident environments safe and comfortable. Each day you will conduct routine inspections, carry out preventative maintenance, and perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems. You will respond to work‑order requests, document completed tasks, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulatory guidelines. The role requires 1–2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, ideally gained in a healthcare or LTC setting, and possession of, or willingness to obtain, the relevant trade certifications.
