Scientific Solutions Partner - Basel, Switzerland

TetraScience, a Scientific Data and AI Company that builds the Tetra OS platform for turning fragmented laboratory data into AI‑ready assets, is creating a new position called Scientific Solutions Partner in Basel, Switzerland. The role blends scientific credibility with commercial responsibility, giving one person ownership of the entire customer journey—from initial prospecting and discovery through technical solutioning, proof‑of‑concept work, RFP response and final closure—while sharing account health and renewal duties with a Delivery Manager. On a daily basis the partner will lead technical discovery to map a client’s current lab data environment, design and showcase solution architectures that address specific scientific use cases, and run live demonstrations of the software. They will drive proof‑of‑concept and proof‑of‑value projects together with TetraScience data architects, craft end‑to‑end technical RFP answers, and explain the medallion data model (raw, harmonized, analysis‑ready and AI‑native layers) in both scientific and business terms. Commercially, they will build a pipeline aligned with the company’s go‑to‑market plan, identify and close expansion opportunities across labs, instruments and sites, manage the full sales cycle using methodologies such as MEDDIC or MEDDPIC, maintain accurate forecasting, and collaborate with the Delivery Manager for seamless handoff. They will also represent TetraScience at conferences, feed market insights back to product teams, and help produce case studies and demo narratives. The position requires an advanced degree—preferably an MS or PhD—in life sciences, chemistry or engineering, or equivalent practical experience, together with at least seven years of combined scientific, technical and commercial experience in life‑science software, laboratory informatics or related fields. Candidates must have worked directly in pharma, biotech or CRO/CDMO settings, be able to lead technical SaaS sales cycles including POC design and RFP ownership, possess deep knowledge of laboratory workflows and data formats, and be fluent in scientific data concepts from raw capture to AI‑ready datasets.
