MediaMarkt is a company that specializes in technology and is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team as a Payroll-Expert. The role involves managing the payroll processes, ensuring data accuracy, and handling administrative tasks related to social security and tax deductions. The Payroll-Expert will be responsible for conducting monthly payroll processing, including monthly and annual closings, and account reconciliations. They will also ensure the accuracy of personnel, master, time management, and payroll data. The role involves advising employees and managers on payroll, tax, and social security matters, as well as creating special reports and supporting HR controlling. The expert will also handle internal and external audits within their area of expertise and collaborate closely with the entire HR department, as well as the finance and controlling teams. Additionally, they will contribute to the optimization and digitalization of payroll processes. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a commercial education with specialized training, such as Payroll Specialist, CAS Payroll Expert, or a certificate in Social Security. A minimum of five years of experience in payroll management in Switzerland is required. Proficiency in MS Office and advanced knowledge of SAP are essential. Candidates must also have a deep understanding of Swiss labor, tax, and social security laws. Strong self-motivation, a sense of responsibility, and a structured approach to work are crucial. Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities are also necessary. Fluency in German is a must, with French and/or Italian language skills being an asset.
