Brooks is looking for a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst (m/f/d) to act as the regional expert for trade compliance across the European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland. The company focuses on semiconductor manufacturing equipment and needs a specialist to oversee import and export compliance, customs classification, licensing, denied‑party screening, sanctions adherence, broker coordination and trade‑system management. In this role you will be the main contact for all EU, UK and CH trade‑compliance issues, working closely with internal teams, external customs brokers and government authorities. You will guide stakeholders, help resolve customs and regulatory problems, maintain relationships with freight forwarders and support audits and regulatory reviews conducted by customs bodies. Daily tasks include developing and updating compliance procedures, determining HTS/TARIC and ECCN classifications for products and components, handling Oracle OTM/GTM compliance holds, managing export licences and BAFA portal activities, and ensuring accurate Intrastat reporting. You will also monitor sanctions programmes, conduct restricted‑party screenings, assess trade‑risk, identify gaps and drive corrective actions. The position requires a bachelor's degree in international business, supply‑chain, logistics, customs, trade compliance, legal studies or a comparable field, or equivalent experience. At least two years of experience in a multinational trade‑compliance environment, strong written and spoken English and German, proven ability to classify EU, UK and Swiss tariffs and export controls, solid knowledge of relevant import and BAFA export regulations, and hands‑on use of trade‑automation platforms such as Oracle OTM/GTM, SAP GTS, Descartes or similar are essential. Experience with customs brokers, denied‑party screening, sanctions reviews, Intrastat reporting and advanced Excel analysis is also required. Prior work in semiconductor manufacturing equipment or other highly regulated technology sectors is a plus.
