Director of Operations Europe

The Director of Operations Europe BSP will oversee and enhance ASSA ABLOY's manufacturing operations across Europe. ASSA ABLOY is a global leader in access solutions, with a significant presence in over 70 countries and a workforce of 65,000. The Business Segment Pedestrian (BSP) is a key part of the Entrance Systems Division, focusing on various door solutions and employing around 4,000 people in Europe. The Director of Operations Europe BSP will be responsible for driving operational excellence and business performance across five manufacturing sites. This involves improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability. The role requires close collaboration with various departments, including commercial, supply chain, engineering, finance, and HR, to ensure strategic goals are met and the manufacturing network's performance is strengthened. The position is based at one of the manufacturing sites in the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, the UK, or Switzerland, with approximately 40-60% travel required. To excel in this role, candidates must have extensive leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or engineering-driven environments. A proven track record of leading multi-site operations in an international setting is essential. Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and business transformation is also required. Additionally, candidates must have a solid understanding of made-to-order, high-variant manufacturing environments and the ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams. Nice-to-have skills include fluency in additional European languages and experience working across European markets and cultures.
