The company collaborates closely with partners in the construction and machinery ecosystem, regularly testing systems in real-world production environments. The intern will work directly on features and developments that contribute to MESH's products, focusing on mechanical, automation/controls, or robotics areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and iterating on mechanical components, building and testing electro-mechanical assemblies, developing and tuning automation/control logic, supporting robotics integration, debugging and improving system robustness, and contributing to test rigs, prototypes, and documentation. To qualify, candidates must be currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or a related field. Strong hands-on skills, a solid foundation in mechanical design, controls, or robotics, and a practical problem-solving mindset are essential. Fluency in English is required, with German being a plus. Candidates must be available to work on-site in Switzerland. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small, fast-moving team. The location in Switzerland offers access to in-house workshops and robot testing facilities, providing a hands-on experience with real-world production and on-site environments.
