Sales Operations Intern

The Sales Operations Intern position sits within VF’s Smartwool & icebreaker sales team at the EMEA headquarters in Stabio, Switzerland. VF owns brands such as The North Face®, Vans® and Timberland®, and the internship runs for twelve months full‑time starting 1 February 2027, with a gross monthly salary of 1 850 CHF. In this role you will assist the sales operation group by analysing and reporting sales‑related data, building custom reports and performing quantitative product and sales analyses. You will help set up and run sales campaigns, evaluate data quality, and act as a bridge between headquarters and local sales, marketing, product, customer service, IT and supply‑chain teams. Daily tasks include supporting regular and ad‑hoc business analysis, tracking stock, reorders, preseason activity, cancellations, order‑book and shipment metrics, as well as contributing to forecasting, strategic and account planning and maintaining customer classification information. Candidates must be slated to graduate after 1 November 2026 or retain student status on 1 February 2027, hold EU or EEA citizenship, and preferably hold a degree in Economics, Statistics or Management Engineering. Required skills include a proactive attitude, strong Excel competence (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities, flawless attention to detail, good English communication, and the capacity to work both independently and within a team while meeting deadlines. Additional assets are familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT, a quick‑adaptable mindset for fast‑paced environments, and an eagerness to support a range of sales‑operations activities.
