Depot Specialist (Robotaxi Fleet Operations)

The position involves working as a Depot Specialist for a company that runs autonomous vehicle and robotaxi services throughout Europe. The role focuses on keeping the fleet ready for everyday rides, ensuring each car leaves the depot clean, fully charged, inspected and safe for passengers or testing. Day‑to‑day duties include getting the vehicles prepared for each shift by washing them, checking cameras, LiDAR, radar, mirrors, sensors and interiors, and confirming battery levels and charging plans. The specialist also coordinates the movement, parking, charging and staging of cars inside the depot, assists with dispatch and returns, and maintains orderly storage areas. Managing stock of cleaning supplies, charging gear, personal protective equipment and other tools, as well as logging digital checklists and readiness reports, forms part of the routine. When minor issues such as tire wear, lights, fluids or cosmetic damage are spotted, they are reported to senior technical staff, and occasional vehicle recovery or transport tasks are performed. The essential qualifications are a valid driver’s licence, the ability to operate both electric and conventional cars, strong organisational and time‑management abilities, meticulous attention to detail, basic computer skills and the capacity to work both alone and within a team. Candidates must be comfortable in indoor and outdoor settings, willing to cover flexible hours that may include evenings, weekends and holidays, and possess English proficiency at an upper‑intermediate level. Desirable experience includes prior work in fleet or logistics operations, warehouse or automotive detailing, handling electric vehicles, basic mechanical knowledge and exposure to 24‑hour environments.
