Fairpicture, a small but globally‑connected firm that enables ethical visual storytelling, is looking for a Marketing and Communications Lead to help expand its reputation into a driver of growth. The company works with hundreds of creators in the Global South and supplies NGOs, international bodies and purpose‑driven brands with tools such as the FairConsent consent‑management platform. Based in Bern with a hybrid setup and a satellite team in Cairo, the new hire will be central to turning the firm’s strong brand into a market standard. Each day the role will involve monitoring relevant news, turning emerging topics into timely content, and producing LinkedIn updates, newsletters and longer articles. The leader will own the LinkedIn, email and website editorial calendar, create diverse formats—from short social posts to case studies—and direct freelancers for copy, design and video while ensuring high quality. Responsibility also extends to managing the lead‑generation funnel, building dashboards, running experiments, and supervising paid‑media activities on LinkedIn, Google and Meta, as well as leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline workflows. Event scouting, representation and post‑event follow‑up are also part of the remit. The position requires a rapid writing style, a habit of reading widely and connecting trends, and a full‑funnel perspective that links awareness to conversion and renewal. Candidates must have at least five years of digital‑marketing experience, including work in a startup or lean environment, and be fluent in English. Proven ability to manage a freelance crew, solid knowledge of HubSpot or similar, GA4, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and automation platforms such as Make or Zapier is essential, together with a comfortable grasp of paid advertising and SEO basics and a clear affinity for the NGO and international‑organization sector. A bonus comes from a mindset that embraces experimentation, design thinking and ownership, as well as the chance to work closely with the CEO, the board and a multicultural team split between Cairo and Bern. Compensation aligns with the Swiss median, and the role offers genuine impact on the company’s growth path and a culture that values direct feedback and continuous improvement.
