The position is a Senior Software Engineer working as a contractor on a remote basis, focused on advancing next‑generation artificial‑intelligence systems. Your expertise will influence how models acquire knowledge, reason and act by providing high‑quality, real‑world data, while prior AI experience is not a prerequisite—domain insight is what counts. Day‑to‑day you will construct reinforcement‑learning environments that assess an AI model’s ability to tackle intricate software‑engineering challenges through Model Context Protocol tools. Typical activities involve correcting defects, adding new capabilities, refactoring existing code, and enhancing performance, all while ensuring agents can locate and interpret information from live MCP servers. You will also devise reproducible test settings, deterministic verification steps, and reference solutions that accurately capture both tool usage and engineering competence. The role requires solid proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C++, Python, Java, Go, Typescript or Rust. A deep understanding of algorithms, data structures and performance tuning is essential, as is a proven record of debugging complex issues and delivering maintainable code.
