Initiative Manager Client Migration

The position of Initiative Manager Client Migration is offered by UBS, a worldwide wealth manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland, headquartered in Zurich. The role sits within the Client Migration capability of the COO GWM division and focuses on guiding large‑scale migration programmes. In this capacity you will coordinate the strategic and operational elements of client and bank migrations, shaping concepts, gathering requirements and keeping inter‑linked teams aligned. Daily tasks involve overseeing planning, execution, timing and quality, spotting early risks, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will also manage senior stakeholders across various business lines, understand their interests, and maintain clear communication channels. Additionally, you will lead the design of solutions, resolve cross‑stream conflicts, and work with group functions and crew leads to prioritize work. The ideal candidate brings a decade of experience in designing and delivering migration projects or a comparable role, with a solid grasp of initiative and programme management. A deep knowledge of the financial sector, especially capital‑markets value chains and related operational processes, is required. Strong listening abilities and communication skills are essential for building relationships at all levels, and fluency in both English and German is mandatory.
