Internal Transport Driver

SR Technics, a global leader in Engine MRO services, is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Internal Transport Driver. Based in Zurich, Switzerland, the company specializes in customized maintenance, repair, and overhaul solutions for over 300 customers worldwide. The Internal Transport Driver will be crucial in transporting materials and equipment on-site, ensuring timely delivery to customers as per service level agreements. The primary responsibilities include managing the loading and unloading of materials, engines, and other equipment from trucks. The driver will also coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate data setup in SAP Transport and handle materials within the Zurich Airport area. Additionally, the role involves using mobile barcode systems for material tracking and traceability, and supporting continuous improvement activities while maintaining a high standard of organization. To excel in this role, candidates must have completed an apprenticeship in Logistics or a similar field. Previous experience in logistics, particularly in cross-functional and multicultural environments, is essential. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach are also required. Proficiency in German or English is a must, along with a valid driving license and forklift driving license. Physical fitness is necessary to handle materials and equipment effectively.
