Safety Officer / Helicopter Engineer - ACH135 | Yacht-Based | Med & Caribbean

The role is a dual position of Safety Officer and Helicopter Engineer for an Airbus ACH135 helicopter, based on a yacht. The company is a private Family Office. The main responsibilities include full line and base maintenance of the aircraft, serving as an onboard safety-crew member to support the pilot during flights and emergencies, and coordinating with the aircraft's CAMO/continuing-airworthiness provider and the yacht's technical team. The role involves a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off roster, with flexibility around operational needs. Off time is coordinated directly with the operating captain team, rather than a fixed pattern. The position is based in Europe, with flexibility to reposition between the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons. What the role asks for: - EASA Part 66 (or UK CAA/GCAA equivalent) B1/B2 licence, valid type rating or ability to obtain one - Significant helicopter maintenance experience - VIP, yacht-based or offshore operational background - Fluent English - Additional safety-crew, hoist or rescue qualification (nice-to-have)
