Accelleron, a worldwide technology leader in turbocharging, fuel injection and digital solutions for heavy‑duty applications, is looking for a Global Customs Excellence Lead. The company supports more than 100 locations across 50 + countries and drives sustainability in marine and energy sectors. In this role you will shape and continuously refine Accelleron's global customs operating model, governance structure and capability set. You will create and maintain worldwide customs frameworks covering valuation, origin, classification, free‑trade agreements and broker management. You will also develop a risk‑based customs maturity roadmap, translate strategic goals into concrete improvement projects, and set up monitoring, analytics and KPI systems to ensure ongoing compliance and performance. Additionally, you will train internal teams, provide guidance, and act as the trusted point of contact for customs authorities and external advisors. The position requires more than ten years of experience in customs and international trade within a multinational setting, with a proven record of building or transforming a customs organization and its governance. You must possess deep knowledge of customs valuation, including related‑party transactions and transfer‑pricing considerations, origin and preference rules, product classification and customs procedures. Hands‑on experience with SAP GTS and other ERP systems is essential, and strong project, change and stakeholder management skills are needed to influence a global workforce without direct authority. A university degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law or a related field and fluent written and spoken English are mandatory. The role sits in Accelleron's Value Chain organization and reports to the Head of Group Trade Compliance. You will work in an international, diverse team that values innovation and inclusion. The position offers development and growth opportunities, a competitive compensation package, an employee assistance program and global parental leave, as well as the chance to build a global customs excellence function from the ground up. What the role asks for: - 10+ years customs and international trade experience - University degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law or related field - Fluent written and spoken English - Hands‑on experience with SAP GTS and ERP solutions - Deep expertise in customs valuation, origin & preference, classification and FTAs - Proven track record building or transforming customs organizations - Strong project, change and stakeholder management capabilities - Experience with SAP S/4HANA (nice-to-have)
