Principal Product Owner, Planning and Procurement Technology

VF Corporation, one of the world's largest apparel, footwear and accessories groups, is seeking a Principal Product Owner for Planning and Procurement Technology. In this role you will join the Global SAP ERP team and act as the global solution owner for the SAP Planning & Procurement domain, supporting the company's SAP S/4HANA transformation and continuous‑improvement agenda across all brands and regions. Your day‑to‑day work will involve owning the end‑to‑end SAP Planning and Procurement solution landscape, from the global blueprint and design principles through to the roadmap, standards and governance. You will lead the planning and procurement workstream throughout the full project lifecycle, guiding discovery, design, build, testing, training, deployment, go‑live and hyper‑care phases. Collaboration is key: you will partner with Digital Technology teams, enterprise architects, product owners and system integrators to deliver integrated, scalable solutions, while communicating solution direction, risks and decisions clearly to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders. To succeed you must have a solid understanding of Planning & Procurement in the fashion and retail industry and proven experience delivering multinational SAP S/4HANA programmes. You need strong functional knowledge of SAP Fashion & Retail, especially S/4HANA Fashion, and hands‑on expertise in Supply Assignment, Advanced ATP, Backorder Processing, Supply Protection, Temporary Assignment, inventory pooling and demand‑supply netting. End‑to‑end procurement expertise, including purchasing, inventory management and integration with planning and fulfilment solutions, is required, as is demonstrated solution‑ownership experience (defining standards, managing a roadmap and backlog, supporting cross‑functional design decisions). Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, clean‑core principles, modern integration patterns and large‑scale transformation programmes, together with professional fluency in written and spoken English, are also essential.
