Technical Support Specialist

The Technical Support Specialist role places you at the heart of Destinus’s daily operations, ensuring that the company’s teams stay connected and productive. Destinus develops advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for defense customers worldwide, delivering speed, precision and cost‑effective solutions to government and military agencies. In this position you will assist users both remotely and on‑site with hardware and software problems, perform initial diagnostics, and restore devices to working order when repairs are not extensive. You will configure new laptops and desktops across Windows, macOS and Linux, install printers, scanners and other office equipment, and occasionally set up network switches or firewalls. Managing user accounts, assigning access rights, monitoring equipment performance and network health, and creating simple user guides are also part of the routine. When equipment fails, you will coordinate its repair and verify its return to service, as well as help define requirements for new purchases and accept deliveries. The job requires a degree in information technology or a related field and at least three years of experience in a technical capacity with broad responsibilities. You must be proficient in Linux installation and administration, comfortable with virtualization, and experienced in supporting engineering software such as CAD, PLM or CFD. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and the configuration of network devices is essential, as is fluency in English.
