The role of Load Balancer Architect (F5) at NTT DATA involves providing technical leadership and governance for enterprise application delivery and load balancing services. This involves providing expertise in various technologies such as LTM, ASM/APM, SSL offloading, ADC technologies, iRules, traffic management, and high-availability cluster designs. The role also includes leading architecture reviews, major changes, and complex troubleshooting activities, as well as acting as the technical escalation point for critical incidents. Additionally, the architect will develop and maintain standards, governance frameworks, and operational procedures for F5 services, ensuring that load balancing solutions meet security, performance, availability, and compliance requirements. To qualify for this role, candidates must have extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise F5 BIG-IP environments. A deep knowledge of LTM, ASM/APM, SSL/TLS technologies, ADC concepts, traffic policies, iRules, and high-availability architectures is essential. Strong understanding of application delivery, network architectures, security controls, and performance optimization is also required. Experience in supporting complex incident resolution, root cause analysis, and large-scale infrastructure environments is crucial. The ability to translate business and application requirements into operationally sustainable technical solutions, along with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, is necessary. Nice-to-have skills include certifications such as F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS), F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (BIG-IP LTM) Certification, and F5 Certified Solution Expert (F5-CSE) in Security or Cloud. Additional certifications in Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure are advantageous. The role is based in the Winterthur area, Switzerland, and candidates should be based in or regularly available within the Winterthur region.
