QC Project Manager - Microbiology Pharma (80 - 100%)

Within its BioPharma Product Testing division, the company supports the entire drug development and manufacturing chain, from raw materials to final products, using expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology, virology, chemistry and microbiology. The vacancy is for a QC Project Manager focused on microbiology, who will help expand Eurofins’ business in Switzerland. The daily work involves overseeing customer microbiology projects, including environmental and utility testing, and coordinating any subcontracted analytical work across the Eurofins network. The manager will plan and organise project deliverables, review technical documents, plans and validation reports, and set up projects in the LIMS system. Responsibilities also cover ensuring timely, GMP‑compliant execution of analytical tasks, approving results and reports, supporting ongoing projects scientifically, and contributing to the pursuit of new business. Additional duties include handling laboratory deviations and out‑of‑specification investigations, assisting in quotation preparation, optimising processes, and updating standard operating procedures. Candidates must hold a degree in a life‑science discipline such as pharmacy, biochemistry, biology or microbiology, and have at least three years of experience in a regulated setting (ISO 17025, GLP, preferably GMP). Relevant background in pharmaceutical quality control microbiology and clean‑water analysis is required, together with a strong customer focus, solid IT and Office skills, and preferably familiarity with LIMS. Fluency in German and good English are essential; French knowledge is a plus.
