Join Givaudan, a global leader in taste and scent innovation, as a Product Development Intern within the Regional Innovation – Sweet Goods team of Taste & Wellbeing. The 12‑month placement is based in Kemptthal, Switzerland, and focuses on creating new baked‑goods concepts while also contributing to chocolate and confectionery projects. Your daily work will involve designing and executing product trials for baked items, preparing flavored samples for internal and client‑focused research, and selecting appropriate flavours based on customer, regulatory and cost criteria. You will document recipes, manage flavour data, and keep performance records up to date. Supporting tasting sessions, presenting results to visitors, and maintaining a safe, orderly laboratory environment are also part of the role. We are looking for candidates who are currently studying or have recently completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or vocational programme in Pastry Arts, Bakery Technology, Food Science, Culinary Arts or a related field. A genuine enthusiasm for consumer‑oriented food products and a passion for tasting new creations are essential. You must communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written, demonstrate solid organisational abilities, and be comfortable using Word and Excel. A collaborative, team‑oriented attitude is required to thrive in our diverse environment. The internship offers a 40‑hour week with additional paid days off, attractive pension contributions, and subsidised meals in the staff restaurant. On‑site sport and leisure facilities, discounted catering, REKA vouchers, a half‑fare SBB travel card, and worldwide private accident coverage further enhance the experience. Working in Kemptthal places you within a supportive, multicultural team that values diverse perspectives and encourages continuous learning and growth. What the role asks for: - Enrolled in or recently finished relevant Bachelor/Master or vocational training - Interest in consumer food products and technology - Proficient English, spoken and written - Strong organisational skills - Good knowledge of Word and Excel - Team‑focused work style
