As a MedTech Device Field Service Engineer or Technician with IQVIA, you will join a global leader that provides clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence. The position focuses on installing hardware for automated medication dispensing systems in health‑care facilities across the United States, offering a clear path to develop technical expertise and leadership within a fast‑growing medical‑device environment. Your daily work will involve organizing, testing and assembling the dispensing units, reviewing schematics, drawings and logistics documents, and configuring both hardware and software components. After each installation you will perform routine checks, record test data and verify that all activities meet quality‑compliance standards. You will also coordinate with support staff to keep project timelines on track and address customer needs throughout the assignment. To be considered, you must hold a Matura diploma and have at least one year of experience in electronics, hardware, software or mechanical work. Fluency in English and German, together with professional business acumen and strong communication abilities, are required. You need to be comfortable using basic software tools and Microsoft operating systems, and be able to collaborate with design engineers, project managers and health‑care personnel. Clearing hospital vendor credentialing, including up‑to‑date immunizations, is mandatory, as is the capacity to sit or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb. The role is assignment‑based, with a typical week of 16‑30 work hours plus travel time, and demands full flexibility Monday through Friday. An active, unrestricted driver's licence and a personal vehicle are essential, as you will travel locally, regionally and nationally on a weekly basis. Candidates should live within 30 miles of a major airport. Military veterans with an electronics‑related MOS and individuals who can work independently with minimal supervision are viewed as advantageous.
